Our Story

The Red Cattle Dog Hotel, formerly known as the Condobolin Hotel. The hotel was recently renovated to provide greater comfort in our rooms, whilst maintaining the country style charm.

The Red Cattle Dog Hotel provides a place for the local community to enjoy a drink and gather. It prides itself on being a people’s pub that welcomes locals and tourist alike.

Situated in Condobolin, in Central Western NSW. Set on the banks of the Lachlan River, Condobolin is a great spot for fishing and water sports, plus has plenty of cultural heritage.

The Red Cattle Dog Hotel is close to a 6 hour drive from Sydney, just over seven hours from Melbourne and around four hours from Canberra. Regional Express services the airport with direct flights every day of the week from Sydney For other major Australian cities, connect via Sydney for travel to Parkes. You can rent a car from the hire services available at the airport and explore the region at your own pace.
